Thermly

Terms of use

Last updated October 9, 2026

Thermly is operated by General Resistance, LLC (generalresistance.com). These terms cover the thermly.io website, pilot and order requests, the Thermly service and app, and Thermly Alerts texts and calls. If your business signs a separate agreement with us, that agreement wins where it differs from this page.

A service in its pilot phase

Thermly is in its pilot phase. The website, the app and the service are provided as-is, with no uptime, accuracy or support commitments beyond what a signed agreement says.

Readings arrive when a tag is picked up by the Thermly network, so busy places report more often than quiet ones, and there can be gaps between readings. An alert helps someone act sooner; it isn't a guarantee that a problem will be caught or that product will be saved.

Likely causes, and your decisions

Thermly suggests likely causes; it doesn't diagnose equipment. Decisions about product, such as whether to keep or discard it, belong to your business, and so do repairs and anything that means working on the equipment.

Examples on this site

The people, businesses, places and readings in the examples and films on this site are made up to show how Thermly works. They don't represent a real customer.

Pilot and order requests

Sending a request form on thermly.io takes no payment, isn't a purchase and creates no obligation on either side. What you'll pay and what's included are confirmed with you before any tags ship.

Accounts

Keep your sign-in codes to yourself, and tell us at support@thermly.io if you think someone else used your account. Your business decides who has access to its account and can remove people at any time.

Texts and calls (SMS)

Thermly Alerts sends alerts, check requests, follow-ups and good-news notes by text, and calls from Jackson, Thermly's AI assistant, to people at our business customers who signed up for them themselves, by entering their own mobile number, confirming it with a texted code and agreeing on our sign-up page or in the app's Settings. It also texts one-time codes to people who ask for them, and one invitation with a link to sign in when a business invites someone to its Thermly app by their mobile number. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts and calls, START to get them again, and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive texts and calls is not a condition of purchase.

Sign up only a mobile number that's yours.

The SMS terms are part of these terms and give the full details: how people sign up, sample messages, and the support contact. How we handle your number is in the privacy policy.
